paypal hassle [message #384840] Do, 04 Mai 2006 15:33

Today I wanted to make a purchase over the internet. Unfortuntately it was
not as simple as usual, in that I had to make my payment in a way that
involved som company called "paypal". Before keying in my credit card
details I did what I imagine any sensible person would do, which is to click
on the T & C regards paypal. Shock, horror, 9 pages of smaill print!!
Does anybody use paypal? I had to make my payment by cheque.

I use it because I'm (virtually) forced to by Ebay. But it's a pile of
shit and crap and a fucking con.

That said, loads of people use it, and I'm sure most don't have any
trouble. There is a web site set up somewhere to highlight problems
people have had, but I've been lucky so far.

Ironically...

http://www.paypalsucks.com/

I've had problems with PayPal recently and it finally came to a head when I
demanded all notes and records on my account under my rights of access (Data
Protection Act) and all of a sudden the problem rectified itself... funny
that.

Aside from that isolated incident. I've used the service for over 5 years
both buying and selling without any problem whatsoever.

=)
