Not trades, actually, but I finally got some free time to update my
portfolio to account for distributions.

I found that one of my funds, ASVIX, had two previous, albeit tiny,
dividends before the yearly cap gains distribution.

I don't do this often, so this took me a couple hours to do. My problem
mostly had to do with finding the data to input into the calculations.
The Vanguard fund was easy--they had everything laid out for you very
nicely. However, the other funds didn't provide certain information
such as reinvestment price and such. So, I turned to historical data to
figure this out, using Yahoo Finance. But using this data, if you take
the price of a share of a fund before x-dividend date at close,
subtract the amount of distribution per share, the figure you come up
with doesn't always match the opening NAV as shown by Yahoo historical
prices. So I am a little confused there. This is the method that TK
advocated, however (right, TK?).

I'm double-checking to make sure my portfolio is correct. Will fix if
anything is amiss.

Here's a run-down of my calculations:

****ASVIX****

Distributions summary:

--on 3/15/05: reinvestment price: $10.23 Dividends per share: $0.0142

on 3/14/05 had 2,442.67 shares. (0.0142 * 2442.67) = $34.39 to buy news
shares at $10.23. ($34.39/$10.23) = 3.39 new shares for a total (3.39 +
2442.67) of 2446.06 shares.

--on 9/13/05: reinvestment price: $10.87 Dividends per share: $0.0343

on 9/12/05 had 2446.06 shares. ($0.0343 * 2446.06) = $83.90 to buy new
shares at $10.87. ($83.90/$10.87) = 7.72 news shares for a total (7.72
+ 2446.06) of 2453.79 shares.

--on 12/06/05: reinvestment price $9.79 Total capital gains per share:
$1.3382

on 12/05/05 had 2453.79 shares. ($1.3382 * 2453.79) = $3,283.65 to buy
new shares at $9.79 per share. ($3283.65/$9.79) = 335.41 new shares for
a total (335.41 + 2453.79) of 2789.20 shares.

****NBGEX****

--Distribution of $1.09710 starting on 12/15/05. Reinvestment price:
$49.54

on 12/14/05 I had 835.72 shares. ($1.09710 * 835.72) = $916.87 to buy
new shares at $49.54 per share. ($916.87/$49.54) = 18.51 shares for a
total of (18.51 + 835.72) 854.22 shares.

****CVH****

Stock, no change

****VPMCX****

$0.38600 per share, effective on 12/21/2005. The fund will trade
without this distribution as of that date. Reinvestment price: $65.65

On 12/20/2005 I had 373.19 shares. (373.19 * $0.38600) = $144.05 for
reinvestment. Bought at $65.65 each, ($144.05/$65.65) = 2.19 new
shares, for a total (373.19 + 2.19) = 375.38 shares.

****DMCVX****

12/14/2005 $3.3810 per share, reinvestment price $31.71

so, on 12/13/05 I had 141.33 shares. (141.33 * $3.3810) = $477.83
available for reinvestment. ($477.83/$31.71) = 15.07 new shares, for a
total of 156.40 shares.

I think the historic prices for fund shows the closing nav only. (If you
look at ASVIX, opening/closing prices are always the same). So, I wouldn't
worry about opening price does not matching the closing price minus div.
