HELP WITH LAND SCAM!!!!!

I bought a block of land a number of years ago in NORTH ARM COVE, NSW,
AUSTRALIA. Council has been telling me for years that the land will be
developed eventually. I now find out after paying rates for years that they
have been lying and have no intention of allowing anyone to build. Is there
anyone out there who has bought land in this estate at NORTH ARM COVE and
successfully got compensation. If so I would like to hear from you.
