This is only a projection. I still don't think UK rates will go up for quite
some time even though they desperatly need to. The CPI inflation basket is
deeply flawed.

Does it matter? The only thing that matters is what they actually are and
4.5% - even with edited inflation at 2.5% looks likely for at least another
few months yet. There will be no huge jump up in interest rates. The MPC
will not allow it.

Actually the 4.5% number is the Base Rate. *Actual* interest rates are
determined by the markets (supply and demand). The projected rates are
taken from these markets (eg. CD and Bond rates).
