Cooking and crafts demonstrations on radio, well worth 3-5 hours of our
time daily and perfect counterprogramming to Howard Stern on XM.
Perhaps the most brillaint corporate decision since GM's alliance with
Fiat.

Stern is on Sirius at a cost of $385,000 per show. A horrible business
decision for Sirius. It may pay off, but if it doesn't, the company
has major financial problems ahead.

Stewart, OTOH, is probably a good decision. The ad revenue could be
substantial and the cost is only 7.5 mln/year, or $21,000/day (plus
incentives) -- the possibility of pulling in this much ad revenue is
good.

This is the first sensible content deal Sirius has made, IMO.

Only in America would people like Stern and Stewart develop such wealth.
What a country.
If everyone liked Stewart as much as I do it would be a very Sirius mistake
to hire her.
