OT: What is it with cops?

A cop takes the job because he wants to be a cop for whatever reason. He or
she knows that they will be dealing with bad people, evil people. They know
that they may be killed or injured.

A mentally unstable guy in Rhode Island shot and killed a cop. The broke his
face, beat him to a pulp. His eyes were almost closed from puffiness.

Local talk radio show has everyone on the side of the cop. The guy that shot
him deserved what he got and more. The Chief of Police in the department the
now deceased cop worked for has fired officers for taking drug money so he's
on the up and up.

Wait a minute. Fired officers for taking drug money to look the other way?
These officers deserve mandatory life sentences. They are hired to protect
and serve. If you took drug money you'd be in jail. Another case of double
standard? Yes.

If you are not familiar with the RI case, they had to put a Jason mask on
the accussed so you couldn't see his face. He had every rib broken and his
face was broken.

The kid was not white. Same radio show, next day. NAACP demands an FBI
investigation. RI leader fron the NAACP appears and is willing to take
questions. He says it's not about race, callers said if the accussed was
white he wouldn't be there. I agree.

Is the double standard alive and well? Yes.
Is the NAACP racist? Yes.
Are blacks the only race with minds that are " terrible thing to waste"?
Apparently.

Caucasions have the Miss America contest. Blacks can enter and have won.
Blacks have the Miss Black America contest. Only blacks allowed.
