I need a share price for both Fidelity's Puritan and Magellan funds for
anytime during the year of 1986. Fidelity has repeatedly told me they can
only go back as far as 1993. If anyone has this information or can send me
somewhere that does it would be appreciated.

Sorry, it's the only source I know of other than sec.gov and edgar only goes
back to 1994.

You'll find (fiscal) YE NAVs in prospectuses, going back ten years. So just
check an old (say 1994) prospectus:
Look for 1986, until you reach a data table.
Line 30 (NAV at end of period) shows 1986 NAV ending (July 31) value of
$13.30. It shows the 1987 July 31 NAV of $14.71, which matches what Yahoo
says, so we know that we have interpreted the columns correctly.
