Been away from news sources, and come back to find east euro
funds/markets stumbling quite a bit - why and what are the prospects?

No fair (but I like it)! It appears tremx is holding up due to it's
mideast/north african investments while pure east euros veeex, mpymx,
and esp eurox are in death spiral last 3 months.

I'm not familiar with the other open-end funds listed above. I do use CEF's
for this region and don't have anything there at this time. CEE, RNE, & TRF
are the funds I watch. All 3 just went positive today, don't know if they'll
finish the day that way. TRF is up 3.2% for the day as I write this, 0.64%
for the year to date. If the US dollar continues to strengthen I wouldn't
expect too much from these funds. They have had a great run though.
