What is the foreign exchange (forex) market and should I invest in it?

I am a foreign exchange broker working for a leading Wall Street
company. The foreign exchange market has only recently been introduced
to US investors. Currency pairs are traded on the forex market. For
example: you buy euros with US dollars if you think that the euro will
go up. If it does go up, you sell the euros and the difference between
the buy and the sell price is your profit. The forex market has been
growing very rapidly. At present, more than 1.5 trillion US dollars are
traded daily compared to about 55 billion US dollars on the stock
market. This is very advantageous as nobody has the power to control or
influence the exchange rates.
Diversifying your portfolio into the forex market can generate high
returns. The forex market is a great choice for the high growth portion
of your portfolio. This portion should be about 15 - 20% of your
