This "New Era" is one of the most misleading fund name. You may think
it is new developing technologies stock fund. But, It is actually
"natural resources" and "basic commodities" stock fund.

Before you get too excited, the fund is in the bottom 25% of NR funds ytd
according to a somewhate dated report by Yahoo Finance. I own shares of this
fund in an IRA. I like it because it's less volatile than a typical nartural
resource sector fund.

YTD as of 7/12/05 it's up 15.86%.
If you compare this performance to the Select Sector SPDR it isn't doing
that well.
XLE is up 29.36%. The DJ version (IYE) of this index is +26.16%.

If raw performance in an energy sector fund is your aim then avoid this
fund.
