Saving money on foreign exchange purchase

One of my friends recently purchased a apartment in Spain. He used his
bank and they ripped him off big time on the exchange rate. Also, money
took aweful lot of time to arrive in Spain.

Then I met up with another person who found the whole exercise of
sending money abroad very expensive and full of hassle.

I always used to wonder, how it can be so expensive and stressful.

When I bought my place in Florida 3 weeks back, I did my full research
