Pahrump is no garden spot, being located in southern Nye County close to the
Nevada Test Site and Death Valley.

Pahrump is the definition of dessert. That is where rattle snakes
go when they go on vacation. But surprisingly, there is a huge
wildlife refuge not far away that is a major bird migration stopping
point, and Devil's Hole is the only know location were a particular
species of fish lives.
