ETF Scorecard site?

ETF Scorecard site?

I would like a web site ranking ETF's based on total return, but why is
practically every one limited to only YTD returns? YTD seem a silly
measure, since it may range from days to months. Many such ranking
sites exist for mutual funds without any silly clicking thru screening
factors, just bang; here's a complete list sorted on whatever timeframe
and you simply click, on 3 year or 3mo or whatever to modify the
sorting criteria. Any such plain and simple sites for etfs (one click,
not generic screeners requiring endless input choices)? tks

P.S. sexy new etf's in

Yahoo's is good, except that it doesn't have total return, just market
return.

ETFZone has total returns, but it is only updated up to previous
quarter, so not updated daily.

Can you list which ETF sites you have looked at? Usually, you can
bookmark the page after you select your screening/sorting parameters.
Then you don't have to click all your options every time.

Gee that's nice, thanks. I think I've seen it but had lost track of
it. Another peeve is ETF scorecards rarely use total return rather than
market return; mainly a problem for the dividend rich ETF's I guess.

Ishares.com has a slick ETF screener, but bookmarked results aren't
valid and force you to re-input all the screening drivel. For the YTD
sticklers, see

Maybe I am overlooking something, but why can the above be like
magnificent

for mutual funds. Well, I have a few more that I will save to reward
anyone who can post more useful scorecard sites.

Which iShares tool are you talking about? Are you talking about the
Index Returns Chart?
()

On that one, you can check "make default view". And you can change
things with one click. Or were you talking about another tool?

The problem with this one is that it is only updated through end of
2004.

Look at morninstar.com, ETF section.
You can get returns for 1 month, 3 months,
1 year and 3 years.

If you're talking about this tool:

It doesn't quite fit the bill:
1. You have to go through multiple clicks to show 1 year performance
(choose filters, change to performance view, sort by 1 year
performance). And you can't bookmark the filter parameters.
2. It shows market return, not total return.
3. It only shows 25 funds per page.

Oh, I was complaining about

I remember that gotcha site with old data; can't remember if above does
it.

I guess I've become rusty with scorecard sites. Usually this forum has
served good candidates on a silver platter before I even ask - not so
true lately. Here are more sites that used to be kinda useful, but may
not be the best...

(mixes in some etfs IIRC)

That's a good page which I occasionally view to see where the trading volume
is. I have had problems, from time to time, trading low volume ETFs and
that page helps me in that arena. I really like
to get the data on premium/discount and yield. Also has performance
screens.

Bucky's suggestion of

is also a good suggestion. Hadn't seen that before I like it.

Yeah! It's so strange, since I had a minor variation of that which was
stuck with months old data. I guess when you capture a configured
layout on bookmark you have to be alert to the fact that it may turn
into a zombie, and the official updates then become available elsewherez
