Hey Mark,

I was looking askance at SSL this morning, being down about 10% since I
bought a little, but apparently they had some promising news, 'cause it
popped almost 5% today.

Otherwise, I did a little house cleaning. Wanted to dump FUN earlier,
but needed to 'of record Oct 5' to get the dividend. The bloody yield
is 6.5%, but it's been costing me principal. Got rid of some other
garbage and raised a little cash. Looking at more silver when I clear.
Have to see. Japan seems to have rebounded nicely this morning.
Lower house voted to privatize the postal system and with the landslide
victory, the upper house will probably have to go along. Huge yen into
the market. Already own EWJ, but thinking of adding some JOF.
