If Tommy has such high regard for Mr. Band why should he steal from him. Let
him subscribe so Band can pay his heating bills this winter.

That's not true.
When you subscribe to Richard Band, you don't have to sign any kind of
agreement to keep what he tells you confidential. It's just that
"reproduction in whole or in part" of his newsletter is prohibited.
When I reveal on this NG that the newsletter Growth Fund Guide (to which
I subscribe) says we're in a secular-bear period, I'm not giving away
any earth-shattering revelations here. Heck, it's probably free
publicity for them.

Of course it's true. If you and I discuss an investment or two then WE are
sharing ideas. If I tell you what someone else said WE are not sharing
ideas. I would just be passing along third hand info.
