Why? European money market pays 2% (might rise slightly in December) vs.
4% for U.S. money markets. Fees would reduce either in a mutual fund.

He could be looking for a dollar play but that might be a mistake.

IIRC, decades ago, Fidelity used to have a couple of funds that invested
in foreign currencies. They had a (Japanese) yen fund and a British
pounds sterling fund and (I think) a Swiss francs fund. The funds
folded due to lack of interest.
