Get local realestate info?

There are a lot of new by-pass roads going into my area and I want to find
out what land might appreciate due to the new roads. Where should I go to
find out what land is available and good prices to pay for the land? Local
realestate brokers, chamber of commerce? Also what land would be a quality
piece of land to buy.
