Davis Selected Advisors manage other interests, that much I found - on
google, where you can draw comparisons for holdings and style. I
suspect they're on to bring an edge back to an underperformer - I ran
into the name Clipper more often with publications I used when I
started investing.

Thanks, I will check around. Currently managers, Gibson and crew are going
out on there own to start their own firm. Davis says that they are going to
stick to the same style, concentrated bets in value companies. They are
saying that they don't see much repositioning in the early going, so I am
guessing that they plan to stay in the current positions in the short run.
This is OK with me, since the current fund has not done well recently
because the aren't heavily exposed to energy and technology. I own other
value funds that have gotten a good rise on their energy positions. I am
more interested in Davis themselves and what their tendencies are. Right
not the fund is sort of a contra fund, where it owns good names that have
had rough times. I'm willing to wait it out. I was interested in what
Davis tends to buy, since if this fund turns into an energy fund, my value
portfolio would get waited to this sector.
