Help me find this technology fund!
Help me find this technology fund!

I'm looking for a mutual fund that is no load, minimum investment $1000
or less and has the following companies in the top 10 holdings:
Google
Apple
AMD
Dell
I've searched all over but I just don't seem to have a tool that will
let me search for funds based on their holdings. Does anyone know of
such a great tool or better yet can someone post a list of funds that
have these gems in the top 10 holdings?

Check QQQQ at Morningstar.

Have you tried morningstar.com 's mutual fund screener,
selecting the "Specialty-Technology," "minimum initial
investment,' and "no load"?
If you'll consider ETFs, try the screener at etfconnect.com

It's not easy to do. One way to do it would be to reverse engineer
this. Take one of your stocks. Go to Yahoo Finance. Click "major
holder" for that stock. It'll list top mutual funds owners of that
stock. Do this for each of the 4 stocks and see if there is any
overlap of mutual funds. Take the mutual fund(s) that's a major holder
of each of those 4 stocks and do some further research into that
fund(s).

One way to do this is to use foliofn.com, set up your
own portfolio and use their window trading for $4.00.
As a disclaimer, I have never used this broker, as I don't have a need
for such products.
