SOB.. I froze up and lost the chance...

am 09.02.2006 00:06:16 von Slim Bastard

Stared at screen all morning long trying to find a spot on the downside to
buy llr.to (linear gold)
Lost my nerve.
Did not add to position. At close they announced a confirm of a big silver
strike.
This correction stuff is nerve wracking, i know what to do, how to do it and
have resources. Thing is, what used to take 3-4 days to correct is now over
in a matter of hours?????
Anyone else noting this????????????????????????

Market Vane has 91% bullish sentiment and apparently 1 in every 5 dollars
in Rydex is in metals.

So - lots of people buying on the dips.

Hi Slim,

Yeah, I've noticed the compression of time in the markets and
particularly in this particular bull market in gold and the other pm's.
Overall, I think it's the impact of the internet, globalization and
the information revolution. In the specific case of gold and the pm
market, it seems to be the former plus also just the simple fact that
this bull market is soooo strong and has demand coming from so many
different sources that historically, didn't all march to the same
drumbeat.

BTW, I bought the dip and added to AEMLW, GRS, AUY, and established a
position in SLGLF. Also bought a little US Global china USCOX.

best,

rono

You won't get any disagreement with me. 91% bullish sentiment means it's a long
way down.

I'm buying gold on this dip too. Today.

I *never* use Technical Analysis to plan an investment strategy. I
invest according to fundamentals only (which remain bullish for gold),
and use T.A. just to find suitable entry points for additional purchases.

Convent wisdom has always been three days down = buy. Now we bearly get a
few hours before the time compression takes its toll/
