Does anyone know where I can find the average price-earning ratio for

More specifically:

you get not just P/E ratios, but also P/B, Debt to Equity, Price to
Free Cash Flows, and all the basic ratios you need to make an informed
decision.

That's very interesting! Do you know if there's a similar list for
mutual funds and/or indices?

I found on yahoo they list an "average" PE for certain indices under
the Holdings tab. Eg. VFINX has a PE of 17.53
(). I just looked at the REIT
index too.. ouch! It's 32.45 () so
REITs are on hold for a while for me.

REITS aren't traditionally valued on PE.

Discount to NAV and yield are the more common metrics. Dividend Cover
I suppose (although that of course gives you PE).
