UmbrellaBank.com now paying 4.6% APY

For those who are interested.

Note that Umbrella doesn't allow you to initiate ACH transfers on their
web site. They send you checks, deposit slips, and prepaid envelopes
when you open your account -- very high tech!

(They do claim that they will process ACH transfers initiated elsewhere.
I've just now gotten them set up as an external link from my ING account
and entered a test transfer. I'll post here if it goes through.)

FYI, I had no problem using an ACH transfer, initiated at ING, to
transfer money from UmbrellaBank to ING Direct.

(EmigrantDirect did refuse to set up a link to Umbrella, saying that
they can't accept "money market checks", whatever that's supposed to
mean. Pretty ironic considering the URLs that show up in my browser
make it painfully obvious that Emigrant and Umbrella use the same back-
end processor.)
